Would never take my car here again or recommend anyone to, unless you have an unlimited budget. They like to total cars, literally their reputation in the insurance world. To give you an idea, just to get an estimate was over 2k. This didn’t include putting the pieces back on the car if I chose not to fix it there. They billed my insurance pictures at $5 a pop and took 165. Their storage fee is what a hotel costs per night. The total bill to insurance for literally fixing nothing and not even putting stuff back will be 5,000-6,000. This shop is a total scam, the cost of labor alone should be illegal. It’s places like these that drive costs of car insurance in Florida to increase. The owner brags about expanding, but on the backs of his customers and insurance companies. This shop is everything that’s wrong with this money hungry country. DO NOT bring your car here if you want it to get fixed, now if you don’t care to involve your insurance and total your car and have to buy another one with whatever scraps they give you, while these people make a small fortune, by all means. We can convey the extent of the damage and repairs needed to restore your vehicle to pre-loss condition, but the insurer ultimately makes the total loss determination. Without performing the operations listed above, we’d not only be putting you and your family’s safety at risk by not exposing all the damage, but also doing your insurer a disservice by not giving them the opportunity to make you whole by either covering the cost of repairs or providing you with the actual cash value. To address your points on billing specifics, we don’t expect you to be an expert in what is fair or reasonable. After all, you’re not in an accident every day! But our team does navigate the complexities of claims daily. Please know our rates are on par for our market area. We didn’t have the opportunity to repair your vehicle, but we did successfully protect you and your family from commonly used unsafe repair methods.
